These are the usual steps that we expect to apply in an
Executive Search assignment:
o
Review meetings with the Chairman, MD and /
or other Directors as advised by our sponsor, to familiarise
ourselves with key personnel, organisation, site, and cultural
issues and develop an in-depth understanding of the history,
structure, operations of, and vision for, your company which
will support the search process
o
Review meetings, where this may be appropriate
and as advised and agreed by our sponsor, with any current,
temporary, or previous incumbent in the role, and any other
direct reports to the position, to establish their operational
perspective on the role
o
Clarification of any activities to date
o
Agree / reaffirm the Role Definition (including e.g. Purpose
- Scope - Specific Responsibilities - Objectives - Business
Priorities - Deliverables)
o
Agree / reaffirm the Person Specification i.e.
what are the essential and / or desired knowledge, skills,
experience and competency areas?
o
Agree
the salary range within which we should be searching, and
identify other principal remuneration / benefits
o
Agree initial target companies from which this individual
might be sought
